As the owner of Local Pieces Gallery I have been working hard to build a new way for artists to display and sell their work. With Tony Deluca looking after the day to day operations and scheduling of the volunteers it has allowed me to focus on the digital side of the gallery. While the website will be forever evolving the ultimate goal is to build a platform which will enable artists to have full control of their public facing information and images and used both instore and online. I believe in the power of individuals to grow and prosper when opportunities are made available. And it is with that in mind that i have also chosen to put some of my own work up for display. As a creative person I have always been abstract in my goal of things. I like to see what will come from the medium be it music, paint, wood, or even code. I often feel like I’m merely something of a traffic officer ensuring the broader constraints are adhered to, but ultimately letting the medium drive the way I apply those constraints. I hope you like my work and the rest of the work on display in the gallery and here online.
